Boston Public Library, Boston, MA - When the Boston Public Library decided to convert their old storage rooms into a cafeteria and a sitting room, they called on Refcon to provide custom counters and enclosures as well as the complete cafeteria lineup. We provided not only exquisite design and workmanship, but flexibility as well. All the counters are placed on recessed, invisible casters that allow the counters to float 1/2" over the floor surface so, whenever required, their arrangement can be changed effortlessly.Working closely with Cini-Little Consultants, Refcon created mobile food counters that combine salad bar, pastry, soup and displays into an integrated design. Everything is quick connected to an electrical panel with single-point service.
