2000 - Subject: NSF-7 Approvals
It
is with great pleasure that Refcon is able to announce receipt of
NSF-7 approval on all service bakery and deli cases manufactured.
As
you are aware, the FDA has issued new guidelines that went into
effect recently.
As a result of these new guidelines, various state health departments
have or are in the process of updating their compliance requirements
to be assured that equipment meets the most current standard.
Some
of you may have already experienced either rejections or questions
from health departments on equipment that did not meet the new standards.
It
is expected that health departments will more vigorously enforce
the standards in the coming future. In addition, we believe that
it is to everybody’s advantage to make sure that equipment that
is beingin stalled meet the highest current national standards for
sanitation and temperature performance.
